Location

River Respite Benedictory is located on beautiful Wilson Hill Island, in the St. Lawrence River, approximately ten miles west of Massena, NY, and is accessable year round via the Wilson Hill Causeway. The island is divided between a residential neighborhood and a NY State wildlife preserve and offers a rural residential close to nature lifestyle. Home to beavers, otters, foxes, geese, deer,and a range of other critters and birds Wilson Hill is a prime wildlife observation area. Driving distances:

NYC: 8 hours Albany: 4 hours

Ottawa: 1.5 hours Montreal: 2 hours

Burlington: 4 hours Syracuse: 3 hours

The closest air service is located in Ottawa. Local air service, the Massena puddle jumper, is scheduled to begin late this summer.

Arrangements for transportation to and from airports and River Respite can be made with us at an additional cost for fuel and tolls.
